EKSPLORASI PENGGUNAAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN VIDEO ANIMASI DALAM PEMBELAJARAN PANCASILA PADA TOPIK SEJARAH KELAHIRAN PANCASILA DI KELAS V SD NEGERI 2 TONJA DENPASAR

This study aims to explore the use of animated video as an instructional medium in the subject of Pancasila, specifically on the topic of the history of the birth of Pancasila in Grade V at SD Negeri 2 Tonja Denpasar. The background of this research is based on the need for innovation in teaching, so that abstract content such as the vaIues of Pancasila becomes more accessible and engaging for students. This research used a descriptive quaIitative approach with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation.The resuits show that the use of animated video media can enhance students’ Iearning motivation, active participation, and comprehension of the material. Students appeared more focused, enthusiastic, and activeIy engaged during the lessons. However, severaI challenges were observed, such as boredom when the same media was used repeatedly without variation, and some students becoming passive. Teachers addressed these issues by combining video presentations with discussions and hands-on activities. Moreover, supportive school policies played a significant role in the successful implementation of the media. The positive impacts of using animated video media include cognitive, and affective, development among students. Meanwhile, negative impacts such as passivity and boredom can be minimized through varied and adaptive teaching strategies that are aligned with students’ characteristics.
