PENGARUH MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN INTERAKTIF BERBASIS APLIKASI WEB WORDWALL TERHADAP MOTIVASI BELAJAR SISWA KELAS V PADA MATA PELAJARAN MATEMATIKA DI SDN 2 ABANG KARANGASEM TAHUN PELAJARAN 2025

Abstrak

Motivasi belajar merupakan salah satu faktor penting yang memengaruhi keterlibatan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkannya adalah dengan pemanfaatan media pembelajaran interaktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media Wordwall terhadap motivasi belajar siswa kelas V pada mata pelajaran Matematika di SD Negeri 2 Abang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode pre-eksperimen jenis one group pretest-posttest design. Subjek penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas V Tahun Pelajaran 2024/2025 yang berjumlah 33 orang dengan teknik sampel jenuh. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa angket motivasi belajar. Berdasarkan pendapat ahli yang mengacu pada indikator motivasi yaitu Hamzah B. Uno yang membagi motivasi belajar menjadi dua, yaitu motivasi intrinsik dan ekstrinsik, yang tercermin dalam enam indikator. Hasil uji paired sample t-test menunjukkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,001 < 0,05, sehingga hipotesis nol (H₀) ditolak dan hipotesis alternatif (H₁) diterima. Rata-rata skor motivasi belajar siswa sebelum perlakuan adalah 62,27 (kategori sedang) dan sesudah perlakuan menjadi 72,03 (kategori sedang). Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media Wordwall berpengaruh positif terhadap motivasi belajar siswa. Media ini menciptakan suasana belajar yang lebih menarik dan interaktif, serta mendorong keterlibatan aktif siswa selama proses pembelajaran.

Learning motivation is one of the important factors that influence student engagement in the learning process. One effort to improve it is through the use of interactive learning media. This study aims to determine the effect of using Wordwall media on the learning motivation of fifthgrade students in Mathematics at SD Negeri 2 Abang. This research uses a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental method of the onegroup pretest-posttest design type. The research subjects were all fifth-grade students in the 2024/2025 academic year, totaling 33 students, using a saturated sampling technique. The instrument used was a learning motivation questionnaire. Based on expert opinion referring to the indicators of motivation by Hamzah B. Uno, learning motivation is divided into two types: intrinsic and extrinsic motivation, which are reflected in six indicators. The results of the paired sample t-test showed a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05, indicating that the null hypothesis (H₀) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (H₁) is accepted. The average score of students’ learning motivation before the treatment was 62.27 (medium category), and after the treatment, it increased to 72.03 (high category). These results indicate that the use of Wordwall media has a positive effect on students’ learning motivation. This media creates a more engaging and interactive learning atmosphere and encourages active student participation during the learning process.
