This research is a type of classroom action research (CAR) that aims to apply the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model in Natural Sciences (IPA) subjects with the topic "Featured Products of Medan City", which was implemented in grade V of SD Negeri 060843 Medan Barat in the 2023/2024 Academic Year. Based on the results of initial observations in the classroom, it was found that teachers still rarely use a variety of learning models, so that students are less active in participating in the teaching and learning process. Seeing this condition, the researcher attempted to increase student active participation through the implementation of the PjBL model. By implementing this model, it is expected that students can be more involved, creative, and motivated in understanding the material, especially regarding superior regional products. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 060843 Medan Barat. The subjects in this study were 26 fifth grade students. The research was conducted in two cycles, where each cycle was designed to provide space for reflection and improvement of the Science learning process with the topic of superior products of Medan City through the application of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) method. Data collection techniques used included observation through observation sheets and administering tests to measure student learning outcomes. The results of the research in cycle I obtained an average student score of 50, students who completed according to the KKM were 15 students or 58%, while those who did not complete were 11 students or 42%, out of 26 students. Because the number of students in the class was not yet complete, it was continued to the next cycle. In cycle II, the average student score was 79, students who completed according to the KKM were 23 students or 88%, while those who did not complete were 3 students or 12%, out of 26 students.
