PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN VIDEO YOUTUBE TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA PESERTA DIDIK KELAS III DI SD NEGERI 1 KEMENUH GIANYAR

Abstrak

Pembelajaran Matematika penting untuk melatih kemampuan berpikir kritis, logis, dan kolaboratif. Namun, penerapannya dalam kurikulum Merdeka Mengajar masih kurang optimal, ditunjukkan oleh rendahnya hasil belajar dan pembelajaran yang masih satu arah. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan video YouTube terhadap hasil belajar Matematika siswa kelas III SD Negeri 1 Kemenuh Gianyar. Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain one group pretest-posttest, penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan nilai rata-rata dari 62,91 menjadi 92,91. Uji normalitas dan uji-t menunjukkan data berdistribusi normal dan terdapat pengaruh signifikan penggunaan video YouTube terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Dengan demikian, video YouTube terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar Matematika.

Mathematics learning is essential for developing critical, logical, and collaborative thinking skills. However, its implementation within the Merdeka Mengajar curriculum remains suboptimal, as evidenced by low learning outcomes and predominantly one-way instructional methods. This study aims to examine the effect of using YouTube videos on the mathematics learning outcomes of third-grade students at SD Negeri 1 Kemenuh Gianyar. Employing a quantitative approach with a one-group pretest-posttest design, the study found an increase in the average score from 62.91 to 92.91. Normality and t-tests showed that the data were normally distributed and that the use of YouTube videos had a significant effect on student learning outcomes. Thus, YouTube videos are proven to be effective in improving mathematics learning outcomes.
